All knights wounded would be a campaign loss, if this turns out to be true. I mean, there is nothing you can do about that after the trigger for this mission is hit.
What I do know is that the order you get the knights in is fixed and depends on the position in the barracks. You will always get the top left slot (highest rank) first and then the one right next to it and so on. After noticing that reloading always gave me my r9 chaplain, I made sure to critically wound him before this fight and it was exactly Brother Strom, Iolanthus and Thule in the order of the barracks - every single time. Havn't tried "normal" wounding though.
On his turn, he 'ported to the stairs behind Vakir bud did nothing else - the only reinforcements i was seeing were the plaguebearers and i just focused Kadex - was kinda relieved i went home with no injuries and no 3 dead knights, haha
So he was gone before he got a turn 2 (all on Normal btw)
Ah, fair enuf, ive only encountered Kadex the once - somewhat glad to see i'll face him again, will explain why i got off so lightly first time around, haha
yeah I saw your post and was kinda hoping no one would correct you and you wouldnt figure it out. rip that I guess
Haha, i did piece it together early on tbf, but reading up on some guides for squad loadouts and gametips etc can be dangerous if not careful as some will immediately go into explaining boss fights with X setup etc so i tend to avoid them :p
edit: 3rd attempt, again no knights show up even though I hit Kadex off the bat. This is obviously a game breaking bug since you can't finish the campaign without winning this fight.
