They can get "stolen" or "donated" from two events, but otherwise no, unfortuantely.

Silver lining is that when these events come up the RNG seems to favor losing the lower tier stuff simply because you have a lot more of them

You aren't. You're stick with the weapons, unfortunately.

How do you make a loot system in the year of our lord two thousand and twenty-two and not have a recycler in the game to get rid of it? For no other reason than organization.

Lore wise, you would never dispose of "Master Crafted" items as they are too valuable to the Imperium.

That said, there should be a way to return them to Titan to the armoury.

I'd say that a cluttered inventory is a punishment for poor requisition managing. :inquisition:

Don't waste your requisition on Tier 1 and most Tier 2 items. Focus on unlocking the max level for each category (except the knights) in the armoury as fast as you can. Only a few Tier 2 items are worth getting so you should have plenty of requisition available when you start getting Tier 3 items.

In the early stages of the game Tier 1 and most Tier 2 items don't provide you with a significant enough boost to performance to really make a difference.

That, or just donate them to the Chapter in return for XP points for your Knights, requisition, extra purity seals, or even just a pat on the head from GM Kai. It is indeed absurd that there's no way to recycle or otherwise remove outdated items.

Then you also think that the respec system is a punishment for not working hard enough to have your Knights die for the Emperor, and that getting useless pre-skilled Grey Knights is intended to punish you for being foolish enough to think that investing more in Knight recruitment = better rewards? :D

Some Tier 1 items can help a bit, to be fair. And if a player is already swimming in requisition and is able to run multiple each time the Bloom pops up, why wouldn't you spend the resources on getting a bit more damage and/or protection? After all, there are no other requisition sinks in the game, although respeccing should definitely cost requisition.

The only thing the current respec system should be used for is re-rolling the base passive talents on your knights (e.g. hoping to reroll a Paladin with +3 storm bolter range to the one with +1 melee damage).

The respec system is a sick joke by the developers. It's also a trap since you'll be building useless ship upgrades and if you didn't know about how useless the system is, you might have prioritized them above something actually useful. It needs a full overhaul.

Swimming in requisition means that they've most likely not unlocked the higher tiers of equipment yet, or are taking ages to complete the game. Taking 2-3 Tier 3 rewards per mission is 6-9 requisition, more than what you'll be making on most missions. It will drain your requisition pool quite fast if you try to equip two full teams with proper Tier 3 equipment and have a diverse pool of wargear at your disposal.

But yeah, there should be more uses for requisition. Like a proper respec system or the ability to buy servitors at a high exchange rate, like 3 requisition for 5 servitors.

Thank you for basically stating that two-thirds of an entire system is pointless. It really helps get the point across just how poorly designed this game truly is.

Yes, the game is not perfect. It's great, but there is a lot of annoying little things like this one.
Some things need to be reworked. On the bright side, some of them are "easily" fixable, like respect & inventory management (not even a complex one, just add a "delete" button on items).
But I really liked this game, and hope It's only a start. Warhammer is a turn based strategic game; and while enjoying games like DoW2/Spacemarines, this one feeled better to me in some ways. I think you can adapt a lot of stories on this model.
But yeah, there's a lot of polishing little things to be done.

The respec system is fine. All the bitter nerds complaining that they can't completely undo their choices is like music at this point. The only thing I would change is recruitment by the armory, since all I do now is keep it at rank 1 so all my recruits are low level anyway.
Halavar May 29, 2022 @ 9:44am
I mean, i also ended keeping it at rank one so they don't mess up too much the skill tree. But having them join you with the points available for you to choose shouldn't be difficult at all.
You may be so unlucky to only get one of every advanced classes per run and they may come with half their skill point wasted.. that's really sad

If you're forced to not upgrade you recruits; you can't tell me there's no problem with respect. Cause that's the main issue of why you don't upgrade.
And respect in exchange of requisition seem quite a fair price.
But the respect being this hard to get, it discourage you from trying another approach of gameplay. And that's pretty bad and boring.
The Laundromancer May 29, 2022 @ 11:20am
It ruins the choices made prior. Respec doesn't need to exist. It always ruins every game it's used in aside from MMOs because it takes away the critical thought you need to put in.

If you're discouraged from trying new things, that's a personal problem you need to solve. It'll surprise you how well things work, even if the internet or a streamer hasn't given it their seal.

I'm sure it'll happen regardless, because whining nerds tend to get what they want, unfortunately, but I just hope they're a bit focused on keeping a real system in place after they introduce it.

brb letting an RNG make all my decisions for me and calling it "critical thought"

or its your first playthrough and you don't know what the level cap is, and end up working towards a skill that you can't actually get.

Or it means you took a skill with a less than stellar description and are left disappointed that you took a skill that doesn't work how you expected.

I guess the problem with these nerds is that they don't put the time in to study a game and learn everything about it before even playing it, like all the cool kids do.
