GrandMaster run ruined due to Blight drone not moving or doing its turn after dive bomb

I ran into this twice already, once with a Helbrute charge and with the Blight Drone as well afters its jump. I had to reload the missions and take a different approach so the units wouldnt use their respective "get stuck skills" ... was annoying, however i was able to continue my playthrough

we are playing on grandmaster so no changing the choices that have been made, basically ironman.

Same problem with the blight drone getting stuck after the delay attack, grandmaster campaign ~550 days in. Can only reload the beginning of the turn where the drone's already launched, it gets stuck every time I try

Is a grandmaster stronger than a ironman? because in this game you can "survive" the destroying of your intire spaceship...

its just ironman homie, no diffuculty change besides busting your game when you meet a blightdrone.

like i said, you can load the safe right before the ship gets destroyed. This was my mistake and the save had to be deleted. If not its not ironman.

bro my ship isnt dead nor is this a game ending issue, the blightdrone wont reslove its turm so its currently locked there until they fix said enemy.

guy its the enemy causing the issue, they need to adress it in a patch like the bloomspreaders they just patched for the same issue

In my intire life i never had a problem like this which wasnt solved by restarting the pc or verifing the files on steam. Just saying.

Yes im serious. I play on ironman too and had a similar problem. One guy got stuck and i couldnt move my troops anymore.
