Anyone have a modding Guide?
The modding guide in the files doesn't really give me a good idea of what does what when it comes to modding unit, weapon, and vehicle stats.

just read it carefully. i literally made my first working mod in less than an hour reading through the guide in the files. it tells you how to mod unit stuff

Agreed. All I can see is basic how to instructions (which are fine), and language reference (which is raw but fine). All the inline comments (which should be helpful) are in French :/ really?

their mod tools leave a lot to be desired. i agree. updating a mod already on the workshop to a new version of the game is nothing short of painful. hope they improve this

There is a GitHub repo that has portions of the files/variables/objects explained, here is the link;

Updating is mostly painfree if you use VSCode, the only time it can break down is if you added a new object into the files, but Eugen adds a new field for that type of object, which isnt applied to the objects that you have created in your mod. If you want a VSCode extension for ndf, here is mine;
