So that will be Dutch, Belgian, Canadian, Landjut, Polish and Czechoslovak divisions pretty sure. I guess a French light armor/cavalry formation and a German Fallschirm- or Gebirgsjäger Division could also be added in that context.
But those all will mostly rely on equipment we already have, primarily they will bring new divisional structures/balances, skins and some variety in infantry and support assets. A new unit or variant here and there of course.
The more unique additions we'll likely see when the game shifts away from Germany. Maybe to Scandinavia, which would surely bring NATO and Pact marine forces alongside unique Swedish and Finnish equipment etc.
At least I really hope to see Scandinavia and the Alps or Adriatic/Balkans as the two major expansions after the German ones.
Sweden, Finland, Yugoslavia and Romania are must haves I'd say.
But Italy or even neutral Austria could also be good.
If Pact gets Romania, does Nato get protesters? A worthy and historical opponent of the Ro army, especially in `89.
One could ask the same about the whole of the GDR- collapsing without even a shot!
But honestly, I wouldn't mind some Red on Red campaigns. Like the Polish-Soviet one in WG:EE.
Still, could be difficult lore-wise including it in a campaign. So maybe some "Tribute" or "Nemesis" type DLC like in SD?
Do you guys know what a Kaleidescope is? It's the child's play thing where everytime you shake it you'll see a different pattern? Each pattern is BEAUTIFUL and uniquely DIFFERENT. But, but you can only shake it a few times and then you give up right? And why do you give up? The answer: because it's boring.
Yeah, you don't need to buy it :)
That is the logic - many people can and will freely choose to shell out more of their cash for what they perceive to be more variety in a game they enjoy.
Bottom line: Eugen is a business not a charity.
