However, unlike the 82nd and 11e, the 35th cannot hold the line as good as the other two in prolong fights. Konkurs and Metris are good at holding back first wave of several MBTs, but once the enemy build up their MBTS, they will easily overwhelm the 35th.
The 56th is a better brawler VDV deck, but it is because the 56th is organized as an motorized/mechanized deck. Larger infantry squads, APCs and trucks with rocket pods, decent tanks, and more artillery support.
Overall, the 35th is great if you have a team that knows to support your push. If they support you capping the enemy point, your team will win. If your team just sit and watch you die, well good luck. The 56th is good at urban fighting the most, because the rocket pods vehicles can get close enough (avoiding ATGM and tanks) to use their rockets but far enough they don't get AT by enemy infantry.
If you want fun PACT airborne action, play 56th or 4th not. At least they get good AA, solid tanks, and annoying arty to hold you past the first 10 mins of each game.
Yeah, 35th gets some good infantry but that doesn't matter when they just get bombed to death or sprayed down by 10 IVFs.
I always consider 35th to be the "rage" division. Meaning you need to be as annoying and cheesy as possible in the first 5 mins to make you enemy quit. That's really the only way you can with with that div.
35th is more classic airborne plane and chopper spam, 56th is mech airborne with some wacky gear. In both you can take two cards of grads and nona and you should. With cv + grads at close range you can obliterate enemy tanks pretty efficiently. Nona is just a really good deal as a howitzer/mortar thing.
35th gets a very spicy spetz open, 56th can go hard with mot raz+btr spam. You can helo open with both but I kinda wouldn’t. 56th has meh fighters and aa but 35th is packing serious heat

Sounds like theres serious competition for the title.
I said "probably" lol. Rugener is most definitely the worst in game.

it gets rekt by any NATO division, but you can beat other PACT divisions. I beat the UK division with SAS (with the two keys as the logo, i can't remember what its called).. every other victory was against PACTslop.
here are my tips:
1.) your AA is trash.. spread it out and spam it, its the only way.. against NATO there's nothing you can do AA-wise.
2.) people will dive your Akulas.. try to keep them alive, land them right away..
3.) spetznaz can't kill vehicles, support them with anti-tank infantry
4.) try to create a chaotic situation
5.) you have to pull your infantry out constantly to heal them..
35 is defintely not good, but i got some wins and im a noob, so its possible.
