Multiplayer doesn't work in certain regions

Multiplayer in Russland doesn't work (without VPN) for almost a month. It's not directly Eugen's problem, since it's our dumb ass gov blocking hosting services that affects WARNO MP (All EG games to be fair) and i don't really think EG can do anything with that but it would be cool to see some sort of acknowledgement that a problem exists and they know about it. Feel kinda abandoned tbh, KoH3 has the same problem and devs at least said that they know about it. Lova yall

I'm pro-HATO irl but that doesn't mean I want my eastern neighbours out of my video games. If it wasn't for the language barrier I think it would be really fun to drink vodka with them.

I dont know if warno can play via LAN, but maybe use this.

many years ago there was also other freeware software named Hamachi that allow you to make a LAN connection over the internet so you could play games via LAN over the internet. ( it made a tunnel that made it look like you and the other computers where on the same LAN network though you live far appart )

I think WARNO needs an Apocalypse/Pirate patch which locks the online out completely, but unlocks an official LAN option.

A friend of mine was in Estonia recently; he said that everyone he encountered hates the Russians. But around 25% of the population are Russians. I bet there is an awesome atmosphere over there.

To clear one thing. I don't hate Russians, I hate their current government and its "glorious" leader.
Most educated local Russians here know very well that should there be a "regime change", the quality of life can only go down.

I have made up my own quote when it comes to my philosophy on aggressors:

EUG doesn't like politics so that's as far as I'll go on that.

Most of the west might stereotypically think we are a backwards or even Russians by default. But other than the aggressive neighbour, it is very awesome to live here. Very good cheap fast internet basically everywhere.

I live in Russia for the last 15 years due to family reasons. Yeah, the country in my profile is Estonia and my name is short for "Metsavennad", basically "Forest brothers".
I have a couple Estonian friends, been here once when I was a kid, i really love that place, so that's why.

Completely understandable. Family is one of the most important elements/values of our lives. You're not the first one I talk to in a situation like yours, and you probably won't be the last.

Russians and Ukrainians sit in the same discord groups, watch the same Warno streamers, play and communicate with each other in the game without hatred. Although our countries are at war. But players from Australia and somewhere else, of course, have huge problems with Russians and our great president. Probably this is not curable.

It's very funny to read threads about technical problems where people come with off-topic and insults, accusing Russians of toxicity. At the same time, in this thread and previous ones from Russians there was discussion exclusively on the topic of the post. Maybe someone else has a problem with toxicity?

Regarding the topic of the post, just spend $10 in month on a VPN. A developer with 1500 players online cannot solve such local problems in each country.
