My GPU is at max load in the menus and lobby.

I was wondering why my GPU is at almost max use when i'm sitting in menus or in the multiplayer lobby waiting? It doesn't seem like anything needs to be rendered by it.

Yo i had the same issue, i fixed by capping my fps to 60 on the nvidia control panel. Hope that works for you :)

this game is poorly optimized, some here 80% GPU usage for main menu...

This happens when the frame limiter is not implemented or buggy

go to your driver and set the max fps for that game to match the refresh rate of your monitor if you get tearing go a little bit lower

e.g.

238 fps for 244Hz
117 fps for 120Hz
59fps for 60Hz
