Multiplayer is a joke...rank doesnt mean anything when it comes to damage....fake game or just best ping wins?

I used to play this from Rural Australia with 3 mb a second down and .3 up. and the lag was actually pretty rare. I had 1 bar but the game still worked. I've no idea what state your internet and pc need to be in to have the issues you are having.

I played video games for like 35 years and i never seen an military RTS where rank should give you more damage and its also not the kind of game where best ping wins either.
Warno is simply not designed that way.
The damage a unit can do are pre-determined and locked and will never change.
So the only thing that matter in this game is that you as the player should select a unit that is stronger than the unit you want to kill. With other words pick the right tool in the toolbox to do the job and then do some tactical moves to bring your tool into play at the right time and moment.

Rank in warno is just a kind of "achievement" you get where you can mesure your self against other players of how many games you won/lost and such things. Rank is just statistics and something you can use to show off or compare you self aganist other players.
I did not play multiplayer in warno but i also imagine rank can be used to match you with other players who are on the same level as you.
Example if you only played 2 online battles, then it might not be such a good idea if you get matched with ap layer who played 500 since you properbly will loose and the experienced player might be annonyed he played with a noob who dont know how to play the game OR worse if you are on his side and are no help or only buy artillery.

no, this is not the kind of game where best ping wins. This is not counter-strike
its a Real time Tactical game and a worse ping than others dosent matter in this kind of game except if you connection is so terrible that its not usable for online play.
If you have a ping below 200 you are properbly very able to play this game.

ps. if you use a VPN turn that off. Try to restart your router and pc.
mesure your internet speed and use a test on your ISP's website when you do so.
This will fast give you an indication if its your connection in general that is okay or not.
