Italian-Yugoslavian campaign potential dlc
Hello, I think that a potential dlc can be Italy and Yugoslavia, with campaign based in their frontier.

Italy have unique equipment, because they have national military production for all the equipment, material, vehicles, helicopters and aircrafts.

Respect Yugoslavia, was the faction most requested in Red Dragon.

Its a lie that Italy had all unique equipment, their MBT-Leopard 1, their APC-M113, their ATGM-TOW etc, generally not much of unique stuff.
A lot of their equipment is national production, the infantry weapons are made by Benelli Armi S.p.A., Fabbrica D'Armi Pietro Beretta S.p.A and Roberto Teppa & Claudio Gritt, the misiles by Alenia Aeronautica and Selena, the vehicles by Iveco Fiat, Oto Melara and Leonardo, the aircrafts by Leonardo and Piaggio Aerospace.
Do not put random names here, say exactly what vehicles and what roles they occupied in the Italian armed forces.

you are only crying because there is not HUN ;)
Nope. When somebody said the same I stated I won't buy Hungary as DLC.

Because it would be a 100% copycat nation.
Hungary except a APC and some rifles never had anything own manufactured or developed.
HUN did not have even the SA-8 and MiG-29 was a post Cold War thing.

In fact if the Hungarian People's Army were modeled accurately its infantry would be a garbage likely as well as the whole WPACT. Just ask about ppl. how "serious" was the rifleman training especially the shooting range.
Even in early-mid '80s a conscripted rifleman shot only 2x30 rounds during its 1-1.5 year long of service...
2x30 rounds? That is quite generous, average soviet conscript on the contrary shot only 6 rounds per year-production of small arms bullets in SU was insufficient, and most of the produced ammo was stored in case of real war.

They are not random, they are the names of the actual companies. It is a lot of equipment to write.

Here is a link to the current list, I have not found a complete list of the Cold War, everything is to look at the design date of each team and search the those that are no longer used. The Desperta Ferro and Soldiers Raids magazines have many publications on the Cold War, practically what I know is through there.

Why do you send me list from current Italian Army? Do you realise that their equipment lists from 1989 and modern one are quite different and former one has significantly LESS native equipment, hence Cold War-era Italian army is much less interesting as faction for a game than modern Italian army? And small arms mean nothing in Wargame-type games, its not an FPS.

Nope. The FIRST deliveries happened in 1990. It is very far from a REAL IOC.

Just check the first shipped F-15A in 1975 or earlier while the first TWF relocated in Europe in 1977...
Yugoslavia is a must here
Messaggio originale di molnibalage:
Rather HUN + SOV against ITA forces. YUG was not part of the WPACT...
I would rather see both, but yugo makes more sense against Italy, that national favor for victory in times of disunity could be perfect plot point to raise the patriotism in what if scenario.

Hungarians and CzSlov will make more sense if Austria theatre is introduced.

Also i don't mind copy paste units as long as it brings the multi national flavor but within reason dlc amount with price and substance.
