2nd infantry division has a bomber that obliterates anything within a quarter mile of the strike.

Su-24s, F-111s are pretty big bombers with big payloads, try those out.

There won't be any nuclear weapons, since WARNO is a real-time-tactics game and not a nuclear-annihilation / death-of-the-civilized-world simulator. ;)

Those are used for strategic purposes, the game focuses on tactical battles, so maybe in army general we'll see something like this on the campaign map (like in Airland battle), but on the battlefield, we most probably won't see B52's

These are not tactical level things.
let's be honest, neither are air superiority fighters or strategic interceptors

MiG-31 should be removed or converted to something else.

But the fighters and tac. strike planes are totally valid considering the absraction.

Plus the Mirage IV is supposedly coming which is a strategic bomber that was intended primarily for dropping nukes but somehow that’s not “out of scale”.

Just because an aircraft CAN carry nuclear weapons doesn't mean it ONLY carried nuclear weapons.

The Mirage IV also had the capacity to carry 6 500kg conventional bombs, which is probably the configuration we'll see in WARNO.

Alright, so if strategic bombers are fine if they can carry conventional bombs, where’s the B-52?

How is an 8-engine strategic bomber with a wingspan of 185 feet that can carry 32,000kg of bombs in any way comparable to a 2-engine tactical bomber with a wingsspan of 39 feet that can carry 3,000kg of bombs?

The Mirage IV is not a tactical bomber, it is a strategic bomber. The B-52 is also a strategic bomber. Your logic is that strategic bombers fit the "scale" if they can carry conventional bombs. The B-52 is also a strategic bomber that can carry reduced conventional bomb-loads, why isn't it in the game but the Mirage IV will be?

Er, you wot.

The Mirage IV is a twin-engine strike aircraft that has the capability to carry nuclear payload.

Just like the Panavia Tornado, that's already in-game.

Just like the Su-24, that's already in-game.

Funny how you've never complained about those two aircraft, even though they're identical in role and scale to the Mirage IV.

It would be just as real as B-1B in CW with dumb bombs. Its only role was being a nuke platform.

Like the B-52, The "Bone" (B1 bomber) is nothing like the Tornado, the Su-24 or the Mirage IV, having twice as many engines and carring 9 times as much payload as the former.
