Waht you Think. 30mm Damage Against Helo

have a scene here that I see over and over again, 3 Fox with a 30mm Auto Cannon are unable to suppress the Mi24 at close range or do adequate damage.


Other similar weapons also have difficulties shooting down or suppressing helicopters.

Autocannons are crap against Heli's. Use a .50 cal MG instead, it works way better for some reason. Makes no sense, but that's Eugen for you. Also, the British Rarden 30mm has always been hugely underrepresented in Eugen games.

Wrong, read the post above it's a skill issue in this case.

I'm trying to offer him an alternative solution rather than just screeching about "skill issue!!!!11eleven!" like a rude and unhelpful jerk. Plus, have you used .50 cals? They often do better against Hinds than dedicated AA units. Also, the Rarden sucks compared to other Autocannons.
