as for support steam is probably better as ive asked some questions on discord and had no reply. I bough the game anyway and am having fun
I recommend to get some decks from experienced players (discord, reddit, steam...), look how some streamers do their (ex: sd_league) then watch tutorials/get experienced to build your own.
For a good starter deck, balanced infantry/mechanised deck is the best option to have somewhat everything in decent quantity.
As for the game, play with slow income at first (0.5 / 0.7) before going normal. AI plays very bad so expect a significant leap of difficulty from AI to a human that is used to the game.
Also people can say what they want, the Eugen official discord is the best and more active place ANYWAY. So give it a try.
Learn all the units in US armoured at the same time is too much for me to start with. I will not have fun.
I wanted to simplify to start. Such as - infantry - add only Mech Rifles. Send them all in M113A3. Tanks - M1A1 Abrahms. Rec - Scouts in a M151. Bradley. No AA, helo, etc. And a similar pared down Red side AI deck. I've probably oversimplified but do you get my idea?

Should not be hard to learn this one, you can just ignore what you do not understand until it clicks.
-Konkurs ATGM infantry + Recon + supply truck vs AI with M1(HA) Abrams is good one for practicing ATGM placement and side shotting.
-Mi24p with ATGMs + Recon (weapons off) + supply trucks vs AI with any Abrams tanks. Helos are much harder to use in Warno than in Red dragon and are vulnerable to long range machine guns like the .50 machine gun on the Abrams.
-A-10 thunderbolt + Recon helo (weapons off) vs AI with any tanks.
-Cobra helos with double rockets + supply +Recon helo (weapons off) vs AI with motorstrelki line infantry in mtlb transport. You can use with no recon helo for practicing on closing in on enemy infantry as sometimes its hard to estimate the closest safe distance to use your helo weapons.
-Chaparral + Supply trucks vs AI with any helo. Very good practice for anti-helo and practicing resupply as the chaps have very low ammo.
-Javelin vs AI with any helo.
-Fire Team (laws) in Bradley transport vs AI with Motorstrelki in BMP 2 . Harder challenge since you need to use the Fire Team (laws) as your only recon unit+line Infantry.
-Motorstrelki + Supply trucks vs AI with Jager infantry (Both sides with equal card numbers). Good for practicing line infantry combat. Motorstrelki will lose against Jagers as they have less squad strength so you have to use supplies to repair your infantry by either retreating them or switch out engaging squads with fresh ones in middle of combat before they die.
-T-55A + Recon (weapons off) vs AI with Challenger Mk2. Hard challenge as you have to do side shots or shoot very close for frontal shots, but if you can do this with very minimal casualties, you will pretty much set for the game.
-All types of artillery (Rockets, towed, mortars) + supply + any recon vs your tank, infantry, vehicle. No AI for this one, you can go into a skimish with just yourself. You basically use whatever unit you bring in your deck and use them as target practice for your artillery (You are basically friendly firing your own troops) Good for testing out the effectiveness of each arty unit on units with different top armor, difference in effectiveness with recon radio radius, and seeing how many arty pieces you need to kill or stun a unit in a single barrage. Very good for praticing queue orders for towed arty by packing them up on to their tranport to avoid countery battery after firing. Most favorite starter for me.
All of it with 1-2 cards per unit mentioned for both sides, depending on your preference. You can upvet units if you want practice with or against less units on the map.
