But in terms of gameplay:
Eugen games play like Eugen games. It's something unique within the industry. BA is trying to imitate it a bit but that will be hard with Unity. A lot more micro needed in WARNO though.
Regiments plays more simply, like Tom Clancy's Endwar if you know the game. Minimum units being platoons. But at least the combat is not timer based and involves unit facing. Aircraft and some artillery are "abilities" to be called in unlike WARNO where all air and arty are units to be microd.
Remember not to sleep on artillery or air in either game. A key part of combined arms.
Warno is focused more on multiplayer. Sure there is Army General, but AI has the strategy and tactic knowledge of a 5 years old.
Regiments them.
Or Combat Mission Cold War.
Maybe i will go on full scale and buy both titles , yeah, it will take some time but this way i will get full experience.
yeah but the gameplay is good
and the models arent that bad
Combat Mission 2 and Black Sea are preatty decent
That being said, the game play and style are totally different. VulkanHDGaming has videos on his channels about both - watch some and see which you jive with.
