Feedback : FOB Sniping / FOB Sharing. Problems and Solutions.
Let me preface, I know 10v10 is not supposed to be balanced and never will for obvious reasons and Im not asking for that. But this doesn't stop that we can still aim to improve it.

10v10 issues Iv encountered :

FOB Sniping : FOBs should either be off map or invincible. Something should be done for players sneaking behind the line to snipe the FOB. Simply put, with 10 players on your team, and a lot of them leaving before the game starts, it only takes 1 player (or AI) to not protect its flanks correctly to put the entire team in jeopardy. This shouldn't be. If the FOB is off map, you can select your Supply units to "resupply" ( instead of "sell") as they drive back out the map and come back available in your deck. Still the chance to have them destroy if an enemy sneak as they have to drive out the map, but at least it depends on you alone, to protect your spawn route (or the one you intend on using).

Solution : Unit are sent off map to resupply (or FOB are made invincible.)

Sharing FOB : This should be an option. And I'm not talking about turning it off for everyone including yourself. So many times I see only 4 FOBs on the ground, while there's 10 players. The other night I had about 15 supply units hugging my FOB, which meant I couldn't resupply my units, otherwise I would have lost that FOB's entire resource.

Solution : The "Stop sharing" supply button should only stop other players, not yourself.

No, just no, that defeats the whole point of having a FOB in game. The whole points not to have infinite or indestructibile supply. Team games are exactly that, team games, a player can´t win alone, so play accordingly.

If you see one player not protecting his flank, you can do it for him, its a team game. If you don´t want that play 1 vs 1.

Also, sniping FOB´s and Artillery in the back is very much very fun. So please, don´t ruin my fun, and dont protect your flanks. ;D

The game mode you are looking for is called "Singleplayer"

An expansion of the Red Dragon fob system, in which we could choose what the fob would supply would be cool, for example I'm more than happy to supply friendly helos or conventional arty, but I do not want to replenish dogchit Grad or RM70 spammers

Exactly. If people ask I dont have a problem with sharing but seeing those arty spammers coming to my FOB to try and take my supplies and then shooting right beside it..

This player the other night had his own FOB, it was shorter for him to go to his FOB but he took the long road to come and try to steal mines. Go figure.

The problem isnt that FOBs are snipable. The problem is that you can HEAR FOBs. You shouldnt be able to hear the enemy units clearly 17k KMs behind the fog of war. Sweaty people on 10v10 sit there and zoom in on your map to hear your artillery move, where your FOBs are and such. Thats a problem.

Oh yeah, that's a thing in SD2 too. You can simply go to enemy spawn and hear which roads he's deployed tanks on (maps are smaller there, so knowing the road, means you know which flag he's going with). It is definitely absurd in a game.

But I checked replays each time all of our FOBs were destroyed in WARNO and its always been either recon helirush or commandos with exceptional stealth going around.
