How did LGB's avoid the nerf hammer again?

It's not even any one division or side that is particularly bad here, although the F15/16s are obviously the best, but they are far too cheap for what they do, and are so easy to use that any division that has them, automatically has a leg up on one that does not.

Take a unit many claim are broken, the T80-UD. I dont even play that division but I honestly dont see how its all that broken with its price, but that's not the point here. It's good in any case. Consider all the things you need to do with a tank. Manage range, dont expose side armour, keep it moving so it doesnt get arty, respect urban areas and forests. Be ready to smoke ATGMs, etc.

Now consider what a player with an LGB plane needs to do to take out any unit they can see on the map. Right click. Done. Now if they click the right unit, or in the case of many LGB planes, just two moderately expensive units, you're up in points. Even if your plane goes down. And that's not even taking into account how much you are up if it survives.

Think about another unit, a Malka. Huge cannon, expensive.
You would need to absolutely go off with that thing, constant attention and moving away from CB to have that thing pay for itself (and your opponent would have to missplay too probably). An LGB plane is paid off in one strike if you can do basic match in your head and your index finger works, even if it dies. No other unit in the game works this way. Even a broken arty unit like the napalm launcher needs to be aimed and takes 5 minutes to reload. (and its more expensive than many LGB planes)

When you start comparing them to other units, its not actually crazy to say that you could almost double the price of those planes to put them on par with other units. To counter them, you need two long range AA pieces, and you need to get lucky enough to get two hits. And those pieces need to be placed so far up that its a risk to them if you want to prevent the LGB plane from dropping.

Even other planes are more interactive. vs HE planes you can split your infantry, you can smoke AT planes, turn off your radar weapons against SEAD. But LGB planes are just ridiculous. I am not saying laser guided missiles should not be laser guided, but I am saying that they need to be absolutely gutted on price. I am open to counter arguments, but I just don't see how it's debatable, even in 1v1 tournaments they are used a lot, and they get kills on high value targets, so I don't see how its a simple skill issue either
