Abrams armor

Abram's armor is sooo overrated in warno. EUGEN should make them in line with leopard and challenger counterparts.
Lets start with 16 armor max with some price buff.

In real life yesterday it was just oneshoted by single konkurs-missle.
But in the game you need 8-10 konkurs-missles to destroy it.
Sounds like a joke.

Why are you all comparing the game to the Ukraine war?

The game should focus more on gameplay and not perfect realism. What works in War Thunder is almost impossible to achieve in Warno.

Especially since the front of the tank doesn't actually have the same protection value everywhere. The Abrahams for Ukraine were even downgraded in protection.
I'm not surprised that they don't turn things around.

Furthermore, the tank's actual mortal enemy is not ATGMs but drones, you can even see them from 3:45 onwards.

Perhaps the superiority of the main battle tank is over, as with the battleships. I think even the K51 Panther would be useless on this battlefield. But only time will tell.

Hitting in the front armour it will take 5 hits with the konkurs to kill, in the side armour it's 2.

5 hits = 8-10 shots with its accuracy stats. It is just insane. Konkurs at-team doesnt even have so much munition...

Dude literally saw three abrams be destroyed in a 2 year war claiming they are useless. Shouldn't all t-80's and t-72s be nerfed to be "realistic" because more than 50 of them were destroyed in the war then? Don't use war as evidence for a game change, its just sad, let a game be a game.

The abrams will easily survive a shot with a konkurs frontally with the exception to a hit on the turret ring... its FAV is fine....

Dude, its a first week abrams are being used in battle.
Before they were in deep deep rear, waiting for some kind parade or whatever.

To be fair. IIRC that Abrams lately was hit in the side by two ATGMs. There is a clearly visible hole on the left hull around the driver's position.

they've changerd something recently so now a T80BV gets ineffective cannon velocity vs the Abrams HA while the HA can still hit the t80BV.

seems a little unbalanced in tank wars

The Abrams armor is fine. Also, you kinda got things wrong with the video, first, it was two side hits, second it was two 9m119m Refleks GLATGM shot by a T-72B3 so not quite exactly Konkurs (9m113), 900 vs 600mm of penetration, a significative difference.

Armor maybe. But M1A1 HA have bad penetration, is not corect 22 pen (in game). Refleks dont have 900mm pen.

9m119m Refleks has up to 900mm of penetration, you may be missing the "M" i put after it's designation meaning it was the upgraded/modernized version of the system.

I don't even know what the rest of your answer is about, any increase or decrease on any of those numbers would come with a significant increase or decrease on its cost too. As it is now, with equivalent stats and cost to the T-80UD it is on a good spot

Refleks-M can penetrate 900mm. M1A1 HA why have 22 pen, if use same gun and ammo like M1A1 ?! M1A1 HA have only diferent armor, not gun.

Afaik HA in the game use different ammo (with DU) than basic M1A1

Agreed 100%. Balance is far more important than trying to reflect reality. Always think it's ridiculous how balancing arguments always end up debating and comparing to real life. lmao.
