if you're complaining about smokes, you suffer 100% from a skill issue.
Weren't you complaining about running out of arty ammo?
It doesn's show on-screen, but trust the infantrymen that they won't wait for their regimental commander to instruct them to use smoke when moving across open terrain, or providing concealment when sergeant Highway is hit for the 47th time! :-)
WARNO is not an infantryc ombat simulator. It's not ArmA. It doesn't have to *explicitly* feature smoke grenades, hand grenades, underbarrel-launched grenades, sidearms, first-aid kits, etc. It's already being abstacted in the unit's HP, veterancy, etc. No need to bother the higher-ups (= the player) with such minute details.
I see reading isn't your strong suit. Maybe you should revisit that post I made about arty and FOBs and try again.
Oh so it's fine when you over-simplify concepts insofar as to ridicule, but whack if others would do so?
I had this impression about the game as well. For example, how an infantry unit itself is realized as a strictly cohered circle/squad regardless of circumstance. This is a simplification made to allow for a grander scale of gameplay in other departments.
I was mostly just imagining command infantry throwing color smokes (the size of 1 mortar smoke), as a last ditch evasion maneuver at the end of a savage infantry fight. It'd look super aesthetic and cool on the map.
Smoke takes no skill, it's just boring. Learn to read kid
