How do you tell a group of units to disable weapons instead of doing it 1 by 1? Also how do you group units of the same type?

There's supposed to be an easier way where you can click the "hold fire" button or "return fire" button, which from what I see allegedly do the same thing (only return fire if fired upon). HOWEVER, what I have noticed lately is that my stupid recon units still shoot first anyway, so I have no idea what that is about.

"H" is the hotkey to Disable All Weapons.

For a group. just select the entire group and press "H".

Grouping is done by holding ctrl then a number of your choice.
Double left tap your aa units whilst zoomed out to select all then Group them as said above.
