I think that the first expansion packs will be based on the NORTH part of NATO with USMC, northern nations and Poland/Czech for pact.
But you can reasonably expect Israel and why not some Asian nations in the late life of the game, so in 2-3 years
On the other hand, Iran is very poor in the military, at least in that era. Israel might be good; they add it to Wargame: Red Dragon; they might add it to Warno.
But Asia and Middle East etc?
No.
And I sure hope that I'm right.
Imagine wanting to play pathetic Iraqi T-55 spam hordes in lush green fields rather than having countries like Sweden, Italy, Yugoslavia, Finland, Romania etc etc.
Unless I missed some tectonic plate shift these last few days I believe none of these are in Central Europe.
Is Sweden, Italy, Finland and Romania supposed to be any different from Iraq?
They're European countries who's inclusion actually makes sense lore and map wise and who (maybe with the exception of Italy) bring unique units and divisions.
I'd take that over desert colored T-55s across the battlefields of Europe anyday.
Not that Iraq hasn't an interesting mix of units but it doesn't make the least amount of sense. At least not before all relevant European countries are added.
true, they could easily conquer Tanzania
First, we're completing CENTAG.
Then we'll move to NORTHAG & SOUTHAG. That's all what's planned at the moment. As already stated here:
