Usage info on Field Supply Points?
I've searched the net and couldn't find anything. Are there instructions on how to use FPS? All I'm finding are answers to the questions "What" and "Why". No answers on the question of "How" and "Where".

Just put any unit you want resupplied, healed or repaired next to the FSP.

You need to place them at game starts deployment, you can't place it after this. And it's basically a super big supply truck - just place units near it

Can I deploy FSP in the middle of the map or move them from the starting location?

No. Once placed in the the deployment zone at the start of the game it stays there.

Hmmm, doesn't seem that much different from the re-enforcement corridor that already exists in the deployment zone. Isn't that in the same general area? I can't use it like an FOB (forward operating base) ?

Why have an FSP if that is the case. What am I missing?

It's for having more supplies available than what your trucks can carry. Useful if you plan to use lots of artillery or other supply-heavy units.

But since FSP are in the same general area as re-enforcement corridors in the deployment area, what's the difference? And unlike trucks, FSP can't carry or move and FSPs are just like re-enforcement corridors.

Once trucks run out of supply points, they can't replenish or repair / reinforce units. Trucks (and supply helicopters) can "refill" their supply points at the FSP and be sent back to units on the front lines.

Not sure what you mean by "FSB are like reinforcement corridors", since reinforcement corridors are just the pathways new units arrive onto the battlefield from your reserve. New units do not arrive from FSPs.

Sorry, by using the phrase 'FSB are like 'reinforcement corridors' I meant that they are a source of large supplies. When supplies are needed you can always call for more using reinforcement corridors just like you can from an FSP. Both are similar in that they have large amounts of supplies available, and they are more or less in the same general location.

It seems to me 'buying' or using new vehicles for re-supply is more efficient? Why do I assume that to be the case? Because calling for more supplies using a reinforcement corridor does not require a return trip to the FSP.

Fair enough. It should be noted thhat FSBs arr not required in all decks, but they can be the lynchpin of other deck builds.

It all depends on each olayer's plsy-style, how supply-hungry one deck or another is, and whether or not the limited amount of supply vehicles is sufficient for that deck or not.

Too bad FSP can't move or can't be created in some other location. It would be nice if one could create an FOB (forward operating base) in larger maps.
if you played wargame the same rules apply for using it like there

You dont want it close to the frontline since it contains alot of ammo and tend to explode when fired upon. Hide it somewhere in your starting zone and send your supply trucks/helis to collect more ammo from it. Never place artillery next to it if you intend to fire, just use supply vehicles. Best used in decks that eat alot of supply or if you have very good supply micro and reapair everything all the time. Its quite a big investment in the start of the game so it's a choice depending on playstyle/deck.

Thank you.

Some tips regarding FOB (others have mentioned most of them already):

1. As others have pointed out, not all decks need it. For example decks that has lots of artillery might need a FOB. It really dependes on both your deck and your playstyle.

2. Do NOT place arty next to it. What will happen is that you will get counter arty and boom there goes your FOB.

3. Instead park your arty away from FOB, then resupply arty with trucks. Don't forget to move your arty after each salvo to avoid counter arty.

4. Remember that supply trucks also can go back to FOB to restock.
