The ones in the armory and deployment UI. I think the available space in the card could be utilized better with regards to conveying the most important info about the unit. For example unit strength, type of weapons etc. A portrait on some vague background does not help a lot in identifying what type of unit it is.
Maybe it could be an option in the game to either show the type of cards we have today or a more generic stats based variant comprised of icons and numbers giving a quick glance of the most important characteristics of the unit.
Adding addition info to such a tiny portrait card sounds like a recipe for bleeding eyes and searing headaches.
What do you mean exactly?
Unit strength is usually indicated by cost or are color coded, blue labeled units are often the most resilient and toughest units. Bars on deployed units indicate overall health of that unit or squad and cohesion indicates that units overall combat effectiveness.
I think if you're looking for more detailed stats, such as weapon systems, accuracy, suppression, training etc, this is something you'll have to remember when putting your deck together.
Having to remember all the unit stats was exactly what I was trying to address. Sometimes it is nice to quickly glean the most important stuff, without diving into the detailed unit stats. Especially when experimenting with new and unfamiliar divisions.

I still don't understand what you mean about HP. HP is displayed on units in game.
And I also learned that you can pull up unit stats in game by clicking on their card.
