Advice needed about the 2SM MALKA
Soo I don't really get this gun, it is super expensive, has a slow reload, shoots only a couple rounds per volley, and even with two of them I cannot smoke a mortar unit ahah, I tried maybe 15 volleys on the precise location of different units and could barely damage them while with URAGAN, for a cheaper price I could explode 5-6 units in one volley.

Is it me who's using it wrong?
Or does it just suck?

It's better for sniping ATGMS and annoying support guns in 1 shot. I use them to kill manpads and light AA too. You kind of need both cards to really do any damage but I find them useful.

Also good for stunning heavy tanks and ambushing them with your t-55s.

I wouldn't bother trying to counter battery with them as usually people more their arty after firing. If you're dealing with mortar spam just put armoured supply trucks near where they're mortaring and you should be fine. Usually the tracked mortars are only 82mm and don't really do anything.

203mm are block killers. If you use them in numbers they delete units. In Wargame Red Dragon people used the 203mm artillery to delete blobs of infantry and tanks.

In reality, they are used for counter-arty options; that's why they are self-propelled for quick movement. They used to be very good for this in WARNO but I feel like it's not as effective, which is unfortunate considering how much NATO artillery there usually is. Use them for sniping units of opportunity, especially enemy command units.

Used to be a very strong unit in older patches, but is not cost effective in the current meta due to the 2 salvo with a long reload time. Should have 3 salvo instead of 2 to be good.

2SM MALKA is absolute ineffective why? Price / effectivity and you can call only two btw. Smerch is worse just loss points. And now after Sead patch buk cant hit jets. Buk have same acurracy like hawk really? Many units artificially nerfed i dont know why. But enemy can take 4 M270 a make arty tornado GG Eugen.

It is bad actually, the M110 is decent because it have 3 shot volley the Malka is bad because it have only 2 before going again into 30 seconds re-aim (Note the UK 175mm have the same issue of too high price for a mediocre volley).

For the M110 to be useful 2 shells out of 3 need to land in. With the Malka if one misses the entire fire mission is somewhat wasted.

If you want to shoot ATGM use 120mm gun as they aim very fast and limit the chance of the ATGM to be moved away before you starting fire.
Otherwise if you do not mlnd slow aim time 155mm are good for the job, cost less, have more ammo and overall more economy efficient.

I am talking about mostly 2v2, 3v3 up to 4v4 scenarios. In 1v1 you bring heavy artillery only in specific conditions and in 10v10 balance is a clown fest.

Alright, thanks a lot everybody for the advice, its what I thought, this unit is just pointless in the current meta
