Who has the best infantry?

For me, I would say that goes to the DDR. As they are cheap, yet numerous and efficient, despite their weaker RPGs and lack of BMP-2s and BMP-3s compared to motostrelki.

Depends on deck-to-deck.
Soviet tank guards infantry is not as versatile and capable as soviet airborn deck infantry, for example.

I'd say 2nd UK Infantry Division. They're numerous and effective, good variety and where the division's infantry is lacking, it has enough armour to make up for it.

Like real life, It's all how you support your infantry. However, if you take out helo, apc, and all support and it's one on one. I think 82nd has best nato, and VDV is best russian. Lost of special ops support, anti-infantry, anti-tank, high numbers of high veterancy.

best infantry has to go the 39th motos. the infantry itself is allright and will get the job done until the bmp 3's come to end any and all resistance. if we are going by pure infantry without ifvs i may have to go french paras since they get milan 2, dual apilas, and flamethrowers and while the ddr and ussr may have better anti infantry squads the french are better overall
