An honest. (I hope...) General "analisis" of the game faults.
Ok first of all. Im not a pro-player. I start in Red Dragon, and play a lot more to the campaign of Steel Division 2 in Coop than anything else. But Im going to stay to WARNO and NOW.
Is Mid March 2023, and playing against the AI and in MP what I see is:

OTAN in general have a way worst AA sistems than the "Russian" Im ok of the game beeing a "sim" or something closer. But at the end if you make a unit WAY worst, at the point that I sometimes I need to manage 2-3 AA vehicles and a bunch of IGLA Infantry units to do the same as one single Tunguska... All that with the supply... micro managaning... and hiding "work". Coz... UK didn´t make a good AA i guess.
But even then, even when I have a massive AA wall, that is or it will be a total overkill IRL, (I mean, at certan games I get... 12 Rapier, 4 Javelin LML and 8 Javelin teams on a line on a small map. Covering all the LOS spots. "all" and... 8 enemy planes, with no SEAD, just drop its payload, and fly away.
The point is. I understand 100% the plane nerf, wich... only makes me dont care about spawning planes. I just spawn ALL the AA units. But this is not a solution.
And something similar is happening with the helis, I find quite more usefull the "casual" fire of some transports, recce units with a autocanon against the helis than... well ALL my AA teams together. Its rlly frustrating to see an helicopter standing still launching ATGM/TOW and ALL my AA units standing in front... Like... We are suposed to do something? Or whats even worst: Launching an Air Defence top tier Figher agains one single heli, and the figher missing and on its lame "return" to base, beeing obliterated by one Tunguska.

And I have the same answer to every one that says: But modern war is about Aircrafts. Yes, but its not the point of this game I guess. So: My general opinion is. Air forces may need to be "logic" I mean: If the enemy have strong AA wall. You maybe will not be soposed to be able to break it. Or it will be very hard/expensive to do. The planes need to be strong but fragile. To make them count. If one single jet payload can break the enemy line just enought to make an advance NICE !!! But I may be able to track them down and shoot them ALLWAYS for that. I mean, no real army shove its pilots to the front line of a well protected battle camp to... do... bother the enemy.
So: Very hard planes, very expensive planes, very delicate planes. Even "one try" will be ok. Like... when the fighter return to base.. no more plane for you today. And SEAD planes can be good then.

And helis are similar. No army fly its helis like a kamicatze units to the front line. Y use it to sneak at low altitude, hunt someone and kill him. But if the enemy catch you with an AA... Well you are down. And thats it! no rush at moment 0. You fly low so you have less LOS, you can do a lot of damage... but you will fall fast if someone catch you. You can "escape" sometimes if in move but if you are 100% still on the air... oh boy you are dead.


OTHERS:
In general I find rlly tedious the Supply vehicle "stock" even more the logical missing roles units in each army... coz they dont exists. But... are you teling me that if i need to carry ammo to the frontline... and I run out of my... 10 supply trucks, Im done, all my army suffers the aufull logistic of the Cold War mindset?

And... this is a general small kid huff mix:
- I know that we are not "generals" of the army we are gods. But... no one never was in charge of every unit, "power" and move of an army. Sometimes the micromanagement gets soo massive that I just slam all the units to the enemy. Coz the player AI its not allways capable of "helping" I mean there will be a good "help" if the slow, low armored vehicles go back in the formation, If all the vehicles in the same "order" move at the speed of the slower of them at the same path... So my transports dont rush the line of the enemy while my tanks are 4km away.

-I will love to be able to PAUSE the game at coop or playing online against the AI... or... EVEN... if im online and I select (and you can disble it in the server browser) to be able to pause the game... Maybe... 2min per player. Coz... I don´t know. Sometimes ♥♥♥♥♥ happen and coz someone need to pee, or the dog do something... 4 people dont need to "waste" it's time (lets say 30-45min per batlle) coz of that. And just... block the orders/select menu, if you dont want me to "see" the battlefield or do micromanagement when in pause.

END:
Im quite happy with the game and despite all the "HATE" Its quite pleasing, fun and good. Just... I hope to see all that fixed. And Im 100% shure that the developers are not in my mindset and they will do as they want. So... It will be fine too I guess.

We understand your desire to change the current balance and do not agree with this. The current arrangement of planes and helicopters does not provide a pleasant gameplay. But I think they have enough time.

I agree, the supply system seems like it was designed for at most an hour long game. I would say the target is 30 Minute games. Beyond that, it does not appear the game really supports a system for anything longer as you will run out of supplies for distribution by then.

For people than want to complete a match by erasing their enemy this is not really an option.

My reccomendation is to lower the required points to defeat a player to a limit you better off with, and avoid trying to play games that require total destruction.
