Broken Arrow - Arty & Plane Mechanics
Eugen dev team. I hope you guys are paying attention to the Broken Arrow mechanics. WARNO would benefit greatly by adding the different arty and plane orders.

Side note: Adding unit variety is never a bad thing 😉

rate of fire 105mm 8 rpm and 155mm 4-5 rpm ingame. thats ok. arty is a bad things that why its called the "queen of the battlefield" since napoleonic times. thats the reason why its used so much in wars.
Also u can counter it with your own arty or just move your units or call in air support.

its more like 12rpm. don't count the aim time, thats not rpm.

and stop with the queen of battlefied bs. yes when its 850 units like russia has amased just now, and its firing for 1 year continously, not just 4 units with guided shells that fire 15 times faster and applies shells directly to the forehead.

I was hyped for BA, but the demo just makes me think, meh.

not to mention precision munitions are slowly making Artillery obsolete. instead of shooting 40+ times to hit a precise target, you get precision munitions like guided bombs or rockets, saving time, lives and equipment.

the excalibur rounds are keeping artillery in the game but not for long, especially with cheaper and cheaper precision munitions launch from a missile or aircraft.

Yeah. Some things look ok and others not so much. Infantry combat looks half baked at this point (is there a morale system? building interaction etc.), vehicle damage modeling is unclear (just a heath bar?) and the oft discussed jet micro (as well as short radar guided A2A missile ranges).

it fire 4 shot in one salvo then reload for next salvo, one salvo ~30 sec then 26s reload time. I accept your oppinion you that dont like it ingame :). But the reality is a modern (even 1989) arty platoon will make your infantry unit a very bad day when u get under fire ;)

It is because it is half backed, as the demo is early Alpha version, which they put to test out the mechanics and get player feedback from which the full release version will be done.
