Highest armor in game, decent ATGM. Outranges the HA and can whittle it down before they start a fair fight.

The most powerful tank in the game is indeed the T-80UM. Personally I think it's rather odd that such is the case, considering that PACT has both better cheap/cost effective tanks as well as the most statistically powerful tank. In a properly balanced game, one side would have the most statistically powerful tank, while the other would have better cost effective ones. PACT tanks also have ATGM's for extra range and auto-loaders that essentially exclude them from the penalties of the game's new suppression focus. There doesn't seem to be any real outstanding advantages for NATO tanks at all.

The cherry on top is NATO's cheap tanks were unnecessarily slapped with the reservist trait. PACT is getting MP units to address the lack of them in their roster, where are the MP vehicles for NATO that can keep up with their disheartened tanks?

It depends on the user.

I and a friend have tested it, the T80UM can lose a fight in a direct duel against equivalent NATO tanks.

so it depends on you and not on the tank.

Leopard 2 feels like the deadliest tank in the game. It may not have the best numbers in its statistics, but the numbers/stats and gameplay dont really add up that well in this game TBH.

It has sniper accuracy and is one of the best armored tanks in the game.

Not the very best armored, like M1A1 HA or T80UD, but it is a very deadly tank with its good armor and high accuracy

2a4 is a very good tank and with 2/3 vet does extremely well. It is mostly let down by it's infantry tab being poop.

T80UD and M1A1HA, but it also varies how player maneuver units. I've taken down T80UD's with an M1 and have M1A1HA's taken down by a light recon tank.
