Widespread historical inaccuracy in US army

Seeing Raven being removed for historical reasons, i'd like to raise following complaints :

1. M901 ITV and its variant, M981 FISTV should get smoke launcher. they were historically had smoke launcher - this was proven true by US Field Manual in 1979 -

2. M113A3 ACAV had 106mm RR not 90 RR. This inaccuracy is not being fixed for over a a year. It seems Eugen Systems just don't care about Feedback section in Official discord.

3. Regardless of Accuracy, HK21 and M249 has lower stats than general 5mm machine guns in the game. i presume M249s are very common in US roaster(like mech. rifle), so Eugen nerfed M249s stats. but do you not realize 55pt mech. rifles gets decimated by 50pt jagers?

LSW weapons does not have accuracy increase by range, so their lower base ACC. means they're useless in any combat situations.

Elite units such as FR commandos bring M249s to battle, but even though they costs 55pt, bringing M249s are huge downside for them.

Even if berfing M249 means increase in cost of general US infantry, M249 must be berfed to match inline to other machine guns.

The first 2 points seem reasonable; the Jaguar ATGM had smoke launchers added in a patch, as well. The ACAV RR could use some tweaking; the M40 fires a 106mm like you mentioned, so the fact it's listed in-game as using the same diameter as the M67 RR seems like a typo. (This same typo also exists in the BDR M40A1 infantry unit.)

However, regarding your point on the M249s: LSW can be fired while infantry moving, and they can be used as CQB weapons. Other machine guns can not. LSWs are assault weapons; machine guns are static weapons.

In my opinion, problem of M249 is not relevant to CQC trait. The real problem is, M249 is not "normalized" among cqc weapons. Standard CQC light support gun should have 25% acc, 399 rpm. However M249 has 19% acc (I don't know why it is not 20% but eugen didn't fixed it about half an year) and 300 rpm which means it is pretty underperforming among CQC support guns.

Totally agreed. WARNO will become better if Eugen put much more effort on these quality of life details
