Nerf apache
so every other helicopter gets blown to bits and misses 100% of its shots as soon as its shot at, but the apache can land shots perfectly while spinning out?

Why do you developers keep insisting on being black and white with the way units work? A unit isnt supposed to have the options of only being an OP monster or an absolute piece of ♥♥♥♥

Make grey areas with units, no more black and white
I've seen so many people complain of units either being made completely useless or other units being absurdly difficult to even kill

You wonder why this game is "Dead" before it is even alive? Maybe apaches surviving multiple strafing runs and missile shots from MIGs and then shooting multiple APCs and cars while spinning out is why. This game is almost a year into EA and still these very elementary design issues are present

Do you know how much of a buzzkill it is for players to spend like 10-15 minutes picking a map, a division, and then setting up the deployment routing all the units, the entire long preparation, just for an apache that is getting demolished by a mig to kill over 6 infantry squads in the first 2 minutes while spinning out? Do you think people are going to recommend it to others and spend more time on the game, getting the player amount up, when things like this still happen after all this time of development?

The player is changing altitude of the heli as the plane begins its dive to shoot you down, I do this all the time to dodge migs and it's hillarious. Love it when you guys kamikaze your expensive fighters into my helis which have AA behind it waiting to ambush your planes into a smoldering fireball.

Sounds like you need to add cheap aa to your deck to support your pre deployment units, and play more carefully.

The apache was built with state of the art ECM and IR counter measures, but it's far from perfect. There is a cool down on flare release, and the chance for AA to hit the apache with its ECM is still quite high.

Unfortunately, the apache can not dodge every hit. Nor can it "spin or twirl around in the air and perfectly land shots" Would be cool though! Lol. The more aa you send towards an apache the more its ECM / IR countermeasures will be overwhelmed. Next time try sending more than 1 igla unit to fight the apache, or at least upvet the units so it's accuracy and RoF is increased.

This is a game though, not real life. I don't know if an apache could take multiple large jet-launched missiles, maybe MANPAD missiles though.

It is literally a known issue that helicopters spin around in panic as soon as they're shot at, and are able to hit everything with their rockets despite the inaccuracy that is supposed to be suffered as a result

I've been using apaches for a long time in this game and this is news to me. Can you post a video showing this actually happening?

I Alt-F4d so nothing saved, but sure the next time i catch a helicopter doing this (as basically any helicopter can do this, my issue with the apache was its incredible health and armor)

that's okay, i've force closed many lobbies in session. the replay ends at the time of force close.

my apaches get shot down pretty easily actually.. i find they don't turn and get out of aa fast enough

DEVs -- Like I said before, the whole stuttering mechanic for the helos is absolutely bogus. It dosen't even happen in real life unless the pilot is wounded. Like I said before this needs to be fixed as the helos are not effective enough in their current state. Remember this is suppost to be a "realistic" RTS. At least dramatically reduce the rate at which all Helos are stuttered. This is a big game issue.

doesn't Soviet MI24 and KA50 gets a quite good health and armor because they are not light attack helicopter either?
the one in grey area you mean I think it is MI8 and AH1 series etc.
