The weather
do you know whether maps with rain, snow or perhaps night maps will be added?

At best GFX but modeling their effect would be impossible.

That is false.

Some maps already have weather effects.

Go ahead and go check for yourself. Zoom in. You can clearly see rain, hear and see lightning and thunder, etc. Some of the maps have it, not all.

You just sound like you have no idea what you're talking about when you say that it is impossible. It's definitely not considering it's already in the game and you can do anything through programming. It's okay not to know something, but don't make wild blanket statements like this without any prior knowledge... No offense intended, but seriously make sure you know what you're talking about. This is something that as a developer myself, drives me nuts when I hear people say it.

I believe volcano is one of the raining maps if I'm not mistaken but go check for yourself.

Empire Earth 2 did play it well into gameplay; the golden times are over; But
Eugen Systems develop quick! After this "remastered Wargame" + map editor + modbase is somewhat at a "golden status", they need a new focusing.
I dont believe they will try another AoA type of game sadly.

I think, in a frame of 3,4,5 years they might reach the point to do wheather instead properly;
I can imagine, that they could want something change the time frame at some point.
18. Cent. was in discussioin, or even medival wargame;)

but they have somewhat hard time to place new francise to the market. So they need polish their current things further if they cannot do the former. At this point, wheather and more "periphery game addings" would be the thing everybody wants.

I Mean, wheather as a "decorative" element is not much impressive. its better if it causes lots of twists inside gameplay ofc.

There is already a night map, a second one in the works, and maps with some rain effects, though I will admit the rain is not super noticeable, perhaps some heavier weather sound effects would add to it

That is I'm talking about. It is GFX at best.
Did you experience sound supression or visible distance decrease?
Or low clod layer which prevent using air force?
Or slower vehicle movement at a specific zone?

Fortunately, no. Those sound like they would be horribly not-fun in a multiplayer game.

Will weather affect the AP power?

is possible add more weather random with some mods? i have seen on discord that somebody added rain in a picture of tank t64 second me the weather random never be missing in rts game of war,,,, i hope in future dlc that war moves to the baltic in winter with new scenarios with rain, snow, ice with related effects on troops and vehicles... I asked some developer a while ago and he replied that in the future they would consider adding variable weather conditions for example the broken arrow game will have it we hope in a healthy competition to push to improve more and more

probably yes, but would require some custom coding and making sure the mod tools don't freak out over it. they leave a lot to be desired.
