French 11e Para too weak
Sooo, the new british div is pretty op, great infantry, good AA, good Arty, good Planes, good tanks, overall a very fun div to play.
But then I took a look at the new french div, and wtf is this boys: good planes and alright(ish) hellos, poor inf, poor arty, very poor tanks, poor AA, poor log.
It got no punch, there's 0 reasons why I'd chose to play this div instead of a brit one or an american one, if the enemy has some AA, the only small advantage this div has is absolutely nullified, and with no tanks or arty good luck getting rid of this AA...
And what about the training level of units; Legionnaires have a "poor" level of training? Really? Even in places where this div is supposed to shine it disappoints...
It is even worse than the Russian Paratrooper div.
It needs a HUGE buff to be playable...

Just tried this Division out and I have to disagree.

This is easily the best division in the game for urban combat, and with liberal use of Milan 2 weapon systems you can still beat an armored push. The helos r really just for support or to get some rapid at support but the inf carries this division. The paratroopers themselves are very good and with the veterncy they start with they can easily outmatch pact infantry most of the time. Sappuers with flamers are also exceptionally good of clearing enemy infantry. The mistral is also a good enough counter to air and helos, and the fighters of this division (one goes ~1500 kilometres an hour) are also incredible.

I do think the ERC-90 is way overpriced. the advantage in speed means little since the French tanks don't have stabilizers and they die in one hit even to t-55s. Id say either up their armor so they can at least take a hit from a bmp or dramtically reduce their price.

also what do you mean the Legionaries have poor training? they are max vet.

Well the unit quality is litteraly "poor" for legionnaries.
Mistrals are good, but not enough for a good air defense, and those units are very Log intensive, which lacks here.
And if we're talking about urban combat, lets compare the 11th and the Motostrelski div: not only the moto div has very capable IFV's and plenty of inf, it also has strong tanks, insane arty (pretty useful to support an urban assault) and still good planes for CAS with the SU25s and 24s.
Now for the 11e para CAS is insanely good, but once again if I see an enemy with the 11th para I'll just buy a lot of AA and negate my enemie's only advantage as he cannot use alternative means of assault such as arty+motorized inf etc...
And for urban assault support, the 105mm arty is just not powerful enough when you compare it to what almost every other div has, it's easily the worst arty in the game.
The 11e Para just lacks in too many departments while not shining enough in the inf department to be even a little competitive at the moment.

However if the 11th was to receive extra Arty units coming from the Germans and a bit more Log, it could become playable.
The unit quality rating is not truly indicative of a units performance. To my understanding most of the quality ratings for the new divisions are place holders. 39th Guards Mot. would get obliterated by 11e in a close combat situation. APILAS and milan can easily destroy whatever armor is thrown at you, and your infantry not only outnumbers and outvets soviet Motorstrelki squads but also outguns them. IFVs also have limited use in urban combat as they are almost always going to be in range of AT weaponry which is unfavorable. The heavy support of 39. ya guards is def better but the two division are really meant for different purposes.

I agree with arty being garbage but french mortars are pretty decent for fire support for ur infantry and laying smoke screens and ideally in a team game someone will have brought a divison capable of counter battery.

I agree that if you're playing with teammates providing tanks and arty you can play with this deck, but that's a lot of ifs.
Also mortars overall have been nerfed by a lot, so even if french mortars are good, it's still a bit useless.
And yes, 11th inf will be better than the moto units, but I'd take medium range inf with good arty support over great inf with poor arty all day long.
