New pact fanctions

Adding the brits and french gave Nato +2 factions.
Will there be another 1-2 pact factions in the base game to even out the forces?

Just curious.

I think they said there will only be USSR and E-GER for PACT. Which sucks, because I think most people only play NATO so there won't be much motivation to try PACT. Also I predict there will be some anger over future DLC that adds Poland/Czechs since they will essentially be charging players money for PACT equipment that they already own.

When i said factions i didn't mean new countries, i mean new divisions.
Currently there are 8 Nato and 6 Pact.

Although new countries would be nice, i'm sure they will come with DLC's just like SD2.

I get why people want diversity in a game. But let’s face it: Pact had 7 members vs NATO’s 16. And most of the equipment of Pact came from the Soviet Union. So even if Eugen added new divisions and nations for Pact, we would not get as much as on the side of NATO.
Unless they would started to add neutral countries..

Yeah, even Wargame had issues with diversity for REDFOR and it even had CCP, NK and YUGO.

The devs mentioned about Poland, Czechoslovakia and NORTHAG(probably the Belgians and Dutch) as DLC factions.

And those up there are like "we don't want units with Romanian or Chinese made AK, we don't want units with new voice lines, we only want pure copy and paste mech rifles for new contents, or better yet release no more contents, as the game is already ""excellent"" now"

For skirmish and multiplayer,like in SD2,i think will be great to have divisions from other nations! And later campaigns from other cold war fronts,as Balkan( Bulgaria,Turkey,Romania,Greece,Albania,Italy,14 Soviet army from Trandnistria,Hungary. Israel vs Arabs,etc.

Maybe,but some nations have there moddifications on equipments and there weapons,because some countries have there weapons industry in eas!

Becouse you know, Warsaw Pact was called WARSAW pact, so maby you should consider to implement for example the second army in numbers and equipment in WP the Polish People's ARMY? You have also Czechs to implement !!!

The devs mentioned about adding Polish and Czech units as DLC. But for other eastern bloc members like Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania, we don't know about that. Fanboys here are are like "focus on Germany only, we don't want new factions with AK and BMP, but we'd be happy to praise the devs if they make direct copy and paste divisions from the existing factions"
