3/4 of SAS squad wearing reading glasses?

Back in the day almost nobody in the armed forces wore glasses? Eye problems being common is a relatively new thing?

Infantry models are hilarious in this game. SAS(looks more like IRA) and commando para with glasses, VDV with sneakers and shades, Motostrelok wearing 6b3 like evening dress and Green Berets with black T-shirt and jeans. Can't they just stop making those "fashionable" soldiers?

the vdv did wear sneakers. that is accurate.

as for all the dorky looking infantry besides that, yeah i agree

VDV are literally famous for wearing sneakers in afghanistan, I agree about the crappy green berets though

VDV and spetsnaz did wear sneakers in Afghanistan. But for the VDV that are stationed in Europe, they wear their tan dress uniform and boots. I don't mind having sneakers-wearing spetsnaz models, but having a VDV squad full of folks who wear sneakers and tank tops literally just looks stereotyped and weird.

I agree it should be a percentage no greater than like 40% maybe and even that is kind of high.

I know that visual aspects of soldiers are over represented for "variety", but glasses don't exactly make the SAS look like they were chosen from the best. Even the standard army of the day would have rarely had glasses.

Yeah, its weird, but then you only ever see those in the Deckbuilding screen and ingame you are zoomed out so far usually that the Infantry models could as well be 5 different colored pixels...

I zoom in a lot to enjoy the battle. Half the point for me is to watch a hollywood style action movie.
