Why is a Leopard 1 stronger than T72 (any version)?

I am playing against the computer and somehow the AI's just trained Leo 1's beats 1 on 1 and sometimes 1 vs 2 scenarios. Why is T72 so much expensive when it is worse than the west German tank? Also, it feels like the east German infantry melts to anything super fast. Can't even give them an order to retreat. The moment I hear their cry for help, they die. Devs please balance the freakin game!

Leo 1's are probably the most cost efficient tanks in the game at the moment, with the base M1 not far behind. Hopefully the devs will nerf the entire Leopard line across the board, either in price to bring them in line with other tanks of the same quality, or in stats to compensate their absurdly cheap price.

Also, Pact tanks are garbage, and have been trash for a while now, with the exception of the newly introduced T62's. High price, trash accuracy (even with vet advantage) and stats compared to Nato tanks, but hey, they have super duper useless atgms, so we shouldn't complain too much.

East German infantry are fine though, I'd even go so far to say they are the best feature of the 2 East German divisions.

You can't know about balance if you play vs bots. And T-72 is one of the most cost efficient tanks in game.

Yeah playing against AI doesn't really give a good representation of balance in the game considering AI just sends units to die

Yes, Leopard 1s overperform and they are in serious need of a nerf. Either by reducing their accuracy, increasing their cost or reducing their armor (from a realism-standpoint it makes no sense whatsoever for them to have more armor than a M48 and equal armor to a T-55).

no it aint, t62s are fine, t72 are pretty trash, all sovjet tanks suffer under low accuracy and accuracy currently aint represented well enough/at all in tank prices.
So Nato with the more accurate tanks has currently an advantage but they already said they are working on changing that :)
