Nerf the A10

That thing dances around AA like it's not there. Iv'e seen the thing dodge 10+ AA Missiles without a single hit. As of right now, I would have to invest 500+ points to shoot the thing down, plus the ammo to resupply after they miss.

Most of the time i dont use aircraft because they got nerfed to hell. Aircraft is usable IF you got to destroy all/most of the enemy AA, but SEAD is weak/nearly useless and if your groudn troops got to the enemy AA and killed it, its already a rape. Aircraft is good if the enemy pushes fast and has forgotten to pull its AA behind his storming units, as a defense. in Attack most planes, even the fast ones will get downed fast, with the current state of the game.

Funnily enough, SEAD is... actually useless in real life. The two/three times that SEAD was actually used (Vietnam, Sinai, and Serbia), AAA assets with at least semi-competence just wrecks any aircraft's day. You literally have to fight with ground forces to do anything about it.

Would be great if SEAD planes could discover radar based SAM/AAA slightly beyond the max range of the missiles. As is they aren't very effective

Get good. A-10 has already been nerfed in this game and can easily be shot down by one aa SAM missile now. I rarely take a-10’s into combat now

A10 is actually a solid pick, "IF" combined with proper SEAD

It is tanky enough to shrug off Iglas and Strelas, enough ECM to dodge a LITTLE
And generally can survive well as long as SPaags arent around

Er, no. The ONLY missile that even has a *chance* to one-shot an A-10 is the KUB's, and it first needs to hit (unlikely with its accuracy) AND score a critical damage result.

Yeah, and that's against an IADS that was kneecapped. The sortie and death rate of Vietnam SEAD missions, how the IAF got its own rear handed to them when Egypt didn't kneecap the IADS troops, and how Serbia managed to survived outside of a handful of destroyed radar sets and needed a resupply of ammunition...

... yeah SEAD (and thus any aircraft) is useless when you've got semi-competent IADS in play.
