Game Speed Broken

I feel like speeding up the game is not like actually doing that? Like it doesn't look like it's making any difference at all please help god I can't keep playing it on regular speed i have no patience for this

Just to make sure, you are aware that the game keeps progressing even when you're not playing it, right?

LDW's games aren't meant to be played in overly long sessions. You're just supposed to monitor their progress regularly.

When you have the game open, 2x speed makes very little difference because villagers are dependent on their walk speed. The only thing it does while the game is open is cut timers (crop harvest time, nursing time, etc.) in half.

In fact, it's very inefficient to run the game this way because your villagers are aging out and dying quicker but producing resources at the same rate. To make the most of 2x speed, you need to close the game and let it run. Put it back on 1x speed if you keep it open for a while.
