Do not buy it
If you really want the soundtrack, get the full one on CD
If you think this a lazy remaster then I suggest you take another look at the PSP version. That was 15 years ago, and on a handheld. I doubt that anything was actually carried over from the original game to the point that this is more of a remake than a remaster. Then there's the updated soundtrack, smoother gameplay and all new, full voice acting. There certainly are some lazy remasters out there, but this isn't one of them.
I finally preordered the PS4 version
It might be a bit inferior but the steelbook and a box for the same price makes me happier
And you have not even played this so you can hardly tell me or others what's in the game (just from reading what they tell you) and know if it'll be good in any way...
And I do hope it'll be good and worth the price but from experience, it's not looking good and SE has a track record on that list.
Edit: Never mind; already preordered deluxe edition. Guess I'm pretty stupid. Or I just like FF7.
It's funny how often people on Steam seem to post stupid stuff like that, "I'm not paying $70, should be $60....game looks like crap anyway! So I'll just wait for a 50% off sale".
Not like it wont be all over YouTube and Reddit the day of release either .
