How do you delete default puzzle permanently? it keeps redownloading to my disk for some reason

Controllers aren't detected and if you try to run it anyway, a gray screen appears on the desktop, nothing appears in the headset and the CPU gets overloaded to the point that the tracking starts to get choppy. Disappointing. I'm not going to leave a negative rec since the game doesn't list Index support but I'm just leaving this here for the benefit of others....
