Is native Linux a possibility
As a Massive dune fan and a RTS fan, this grabbed my attention (dune2000 on the Amiga was <3 )

Sure proton is great, not native is just so much nicer, is there any plans?

Runs perfect with OpenGL! But why not Vulkan... OpenGL is OK, but Vulkan is just better. They must be using an old engine or veteran devs, right? The game graphics are a little outdated I must say in this day and age where we have UE5.

But that is OK, I am not playing for the graphics, playing for the gameplay. Hopefully, there is a graphics upgrade in the future. Much love, love the gameplay thusfar!

+1, it works but have found minor performance issues and full blue screen on certain camera positions on the steamdeck

+1 for (better) Linux support. When running on Ubuntu 20.04 on a Ryzen with AMD Renoir using Proton (I tested from 6.x up to experimental) it works only until I build a harvester. Then the screen turns blue.

Yeah I had that problem as well. Play using DirectX instead of OpenGL and the issue goes away.

I've been playing this game on Arch and haven't had any issues on Proton. I get 2 more frames per second than I get with my Windows PC.

Another +1 for native Linux support. It works great on Northgard (looks like this might be the same game engine?) and I would buy this today if it had native support.

Game works fairly well with Proton, but native would be nice. Or at least Vulkan implementation.

I will wait for a native version.
I would buy this for full price if it was released on Linux. If it is not, I will wait until a good discount and play with Proton.
