This is a full release title now!
You supported the Devs and gave them valuable data by enjoying the game as much as you have, and the final product is here with the data we've given them. Just be happy you had such a complete experience with an unfinished product.
Generally devs will try not to do this where they can, but at release it is very normal for a full wipe or partial wipe
In this case though V-Rising uses servers, so if a server operator decides to wipe they can, at any time, as it is not a game that uses central servers or stores characters locally.
Maybe. I think my best bet is to just wait a few years and play if I ever get interested again. I guess I'm just going to uninstall and leave it.
