Can we all agree that most of us play Solo or with friends on a private server?

Just saying there are to many this game is dead posts, i believe that it is fine and in great shape but there seems to be allot of gripe over server populations. I play with friends on a private server and there are 20 of us all counted. we have dedicated raid nights and make up our own play time goals like most excuisite hearts or the most scrolls found and then we have the castle battles when we are all online. I think the devs/community needs to embrase the fact that in my experience allot of the people that play this game want nothing to do with public servers, they just want to have a fun game night with people they know and wont have to deal with toxic drama from public servers. I may be wrong but i truly think im right. go join a rust server or any MMO thats been out for more than 6 months your screwed, and will be beaten down. V lets you start servers and all the modifyable elements whenever you want. so 3 years from now a group can completely start a new game on their own teams with people they either know or a friend knows. or f it im gonna take over the world all alone how i want to. i just think they should get some credit for giving us a good game and the oppertunitys to play it how we like. yeah i type fast and badly so grammer police go fin a short cliff with a big drop.

Trolls/ignorant people all too often try to measure a game's quality by population, which is made even more foolish when the game stands just fine as a single-player experience. You don't need 50k people online when you can only play with a couple dozen at most anyway.

Not to mention I still laugh at the people that act like this is a PvP-only game, as if the entire rest of the game doesn't exist. And then they bully anyone that joins the server to death within an hour, then wonder why they never come back, and then complain that PvP killed their PvP game. Or better yet, that "PvE players killed their PvP game". Like, no, PvE players aren't in your PvP servers to begin with.

I wish they had a pause feature - I mean, that would go a long way.

I play on a server by myself. I want nothing to do with public. Too many asshats out there to put myself in their space.

I'd agree that the small portion of people who still play probably solo or play with friends.

Most people that bought this game for player interactions and random encounters left long ago.

i think its good that the devs have made this game like, everyone can make servers and so one.
ift they keep up bugfixxing then it will never be died out, because it fills a nieche.
there are not many games out there where you can play as a vampire and build a castle in this Depth with this level of costumisation. its great.
also the sun, the danger, and the possible pvp if wanted is great.

i like the farming and building of the game and beeing a vampire. so i play solo from time to time

I am a solo player that enjoys playing with/against random people on a public PvP server, so I can't agree with OP.

i played on a public pvp server when the latest update came out. after a period of time though, the server died and i went back to private solo. i enjoy both.
