I Only Play Solo ... But would suggest using Advance Setting to set-up game like you want to Play it. .... Maybe up the Harvest amount a bit .. It can be a bit grinding at first.

I primarily play solo. I enjoy the boss fights and the castle decorating, but find the resource grind pretty dull. Server settings can help with that, but the moment to moment gameplay of going out and farming goods is largely passive.

If you're good with longer periods of sleepy gameplay broken up by engaging boss fights, or if you derive a lot of joy out of customizing and decorating a living space, I think it's a worthwhile solo game.

It's totaly fine for solo. There is a lot of content and great atmosphere, however I recomment PVE server if you not big fan of multiplayer. In this case there will be no PVP toxicity. You will just sometimes meet other payers and there will be no need to intecact with them, but the world will feel much more alive. But if you want no real players around, solo offline will be also great option for like 50+ hours easy.

Also if you eventaully pick offline solo play, change some setting to make game little bit more comfortabe. Like x2-3 loot or you will meet hours of grind

Sorry, could someone explain "solo"? Are you on your own server or you mean you're playing by yourself but there are other players doing their own PVE thing?

I'm Interested in this game but I have no desire to play with anyone else on a server (unless I can convince a friend to pick this up). How does solo work? Is it easy to set up or even work correctly with the new patch? Thanks for any insight.

Technically could be either one. Either by yourself on a server with others, or in a private game with nobody else around.

The game works just fine solo. Might want to tweak server settings to be less grindy if you want, but the whole experience can be solo'd comfortably.

You can have a private or lan server or play completely offline with the solo checkbox. It still creates a server but only on your local pc. I'm really happy the devs gave us all these options.

Only thing that sucks for the offline part is servents don't keep going hope they find a way to change that

They do actually. At least they do now. Send servants out to your heart's content.

Do you need servants when you've jacked the resource gathering to max? Servants also seem like a weird mechanic, they're seemingly only able to farm content I've already leveled out of?
