They should all lead to where you've already been, not where you havn't.
They exist as fast travel points to places you've already been, with the ability to drag resources backwards if you have the teleport off. Making them go both ways would make the restriction on teleport a moot restriction. If you have teleport on, just use the teleporters. They're better anyway.
And no, they wouldn't lead to areas you can handle, since you'd find those passageways before you were ready for the areas they lead to. Finding that cave down in the southeast that takes you straight up into dunleys would give players some weird opportunities that they would have to otherwise first climb north a ways before they'd have access to.
I would have absolutely have been running around dunleys grabbing whatever I could before retreating back into the cave with whatever I found up there in my first playthrough.
riddle me this bats;
You heard me before, yet you hear me again. Then I die till you call me again. What am I?
Hint: it happens in caves
I mean clearly that's an echo
wait, you're not batman!
Yes, which would make the restrictions on teleporters moot, since you can just use those to transfer resources across large distances either way. What did you not understand?
That limitation is there for a reason. If you can just bypass it, then what reason would that limit have to exist?
This is why I refuse to play on public servers.
