Servants and "level"
If i spec out a servant with armor, will they gain levels to survive X area? Or do i need to subdue a chap from x area to have it's strength to say mine iron?

Their gear determines their success rate. Equip servants with equal or higher gear than the area you're having them run missions at.

Expertise is determined by blood quality, but yes.

I've actually been slightly confused about this myself. The blood quality increase the "power" of the servant, but not the level. Level increases power however. I'm assuming the chance for success or survival is based on power, rather than level?

Correct power is what is needed but you also get that from gear score, the buff they get in certain area’s I believe is how much loot they bring back in that area

Its quite simple, gear will provide gearscore(important for pvp)
Expertise is also provided via better gear but boosted by blood quality of the servant.

Right, I understand all that. Though gearscore is important for everything, not just pvp.
Expertise increases the power stat of servants (which is based on blood quality), and the power stat defines the damage that is dealt, for both servants and yourself.

However i've never seen gear that increases expertise. That's a thing? To my knowledge only blood quality would increase that on servants.
Guess I have a bit more investigating to do.

You just repeated the answer for the thread, thanks.

and only blood quality does so......... go find an 80%+ servant. Thats all.

The servant and mission system is not as indepth as you think it is.

Gear does not increase expertise. It's a pretty simple system.

Servant Power = Gear times Expertise multiplier.
The blood purity of the servant has no effect whatsoever, except to increase the possible range of expertise. A 100% blood can roll from 15-26%, whereas an 80% blood might only have a range of 11-20%. But once you convert and the Expertise is rolled, blood purity no longer has any relevance whatsoever.

You could also apply the servant type that reduces diff by 100 in the area, other then that servants are servants.

Yeah, so the question is, is it gear score or power, that determine survivability of servents when sent on missions?

Its the expertise rolled that gives the expertise based on gear score. And expertise affects success chance.........

But if you are talking about injury chance then thats down to the time you chose to wait with the lowest being 20%. Servents never die from being on missions.

Gear score is power and yes but it’s always 20% chance of Injury I have a 919 power servant it’s 100% success but still have 20% chance of injury but I’m sure that’s just a temp debuff

Highest area I think is 750 power needed for 100% success

Btw am i the only that find the expertise ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lame and bad joke ?

Like you already sweated and work on to get a pur blood servants % 100 or high blood like 80 % + but still then whatever you do you are still victim of the RNG in the end.

Cause even with a pure blood the EXPERTISE isn't workable and only random between ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ranges like ♥♥♥ that .

I mean I have 36 of them on a pvp server all max gear honestly didn’t look to much into depth tho they get a power buff when in groups also so technically they don’t need to be for example 750 power if you combine them
