as i've got forager which was made by hopfrog he promised us complete forager which never happened heres what dev promised coop more updates to game he abandoned forager and marked as "complete" product if you are expecting game updates for over a year or 2 i will shine some light on you you wont get it and probably wont see finished game

This game was made by Jon, who is the person who made most of the art for forager (HopFrog and Jon are two different people.) Please stop taking your anger out on Jon as he had no say in the Forager situation. As for Forager, HopFrog recently announced that there will be something new coming later this year. But if you ask me, Forager is a pretty complete game as it is, and I don’t really understand why everybody is so mad at him.

The only thing HopFrog has to do with this is being the publisher. Jon is the dev and it's kind of sad that people keep taking it out on him and Lost Nova (neither of which has anything to do with the Forager situation) just because things didn't quite go as planned with Forager. I also don't get why people are so over-the-top pissed with HopFrog anyway...game development changes all the time and it's better to drop a feature all-together when you realise that you won't be able to achieve a decent result instead of adding a subpar feature just because players are demanding it. It's not like he completely abandoned the game or left it unfinished - it's literally just a feature that ended up not getting included, but the game itself is a perfectly finished SINGLE PLAYER game in it's current state. Yes multiplayer didn't make it in and that's bummer if you can't have fun playing it without your friends, but it's not the end of the world. And he was being way more fair about it than I would have expected any dev to be - offering refunds to players who only bought the game for multiplayer. That's not something you see often no matter how much a dev has messed something up.

I loved Forager, I understand people wanting co-op but the game is complete as it is and it is just amazing and so addictive. What I can tell about Lost Nova is that it is also very addictive and an amazing game. Don't punish this developer because of whatever happened or the relations are between this game and forager. If you think this is your type of game, feel free to help the developer out by buying a copy, review it and/or follow him on discord. If you don't think it is for you, just ignore it.

This game is already complete as is forager. I couldn't give a damn about multiplayer not being included as none of my friends were interested in it anyway. I got my moneys worth out of forager and have now finished this game which is pretty good as well. Judging a game based on an experience with a publisher is just silly. If we all did that then half the publishers would be out of business.

More Forager drama now oozing on to this game forum. You really are just clueless. Stop hating on a game that was only published by Hopfrog. We don't need to hear your bs warnings of incomplete games that actually are complete. Jon, the dev of this game, has made a really cute and fun game and if you bothered to play the demo (I'm assuming you have not) then maybe you'd understand what the game is.
