A few announcements as I get closer to setting Solaro's launch date...

Last month Solaro got QA testing from Lollipop Robot team in Spain! QA (Quality Assurance) is the last stage of playtesting that improves the overall quality of the gameplay and robustness of the software.
Lollipop did a really great job and helped identify some areas for improvement in Solaro's challenge level and learning curve. A few bugs were also uncovered- but nothing too bad!

Lots of progress has been made putting the final touches on Solaro's graphic images on Steam, as well as on the soundtrack mixing and mastering.

This week I will release an update to Solaro's demo on Steam! v1.0.1 will fix a number of minor bugs in the demo, and contain the latest visuals, music, and sounds! Stay tuned...

This game looks really interesting, but is incredibly inaccessible

I made it through the orbital "puzzle" only to get stuck in orbit around the planet VYD, where the game would occasionally display some sort of movement tutorial that seemed to relate to nothing in the game and afterwards left me to either orbit the planet some more or crash into it. Once I made it *into* the planet through a large volcano/crater, only to get killed by something inside, again with no explanation of what was going on. Not sure if this demo just lacks tutorials that presumably are still in...

I have limited edition Solaro stickers and limited edition Solaro "Quick Guides"[www.3bodygames.studio]. For $10 CAD ($7 USD + shipping) you can get one of each, plus official supporter status.

These were inspired by old school game manuals and merch- they have some cute and colourful designs, and professional quality print. They are 1st EDITION- so maybe they will be worth something someday...

December Update

Hi - just a quick progress update on Solaro...

Since the beta testing started in the summer, I've been focusing on improving the games user experience and learning curve. Too many player still had trouble with the some of the main mechanics.

I've gotten a lot of feedback and it has been super helpful- just want to say thanks! And please keep it coming. The improvements I have made would absolutely not be possible without your comments and videos...

Also have done a lot of polishing on the visuals, sound and music. Please check out the newest version of the demo/playtest if you get a chance!

I had to delay the launch into early 2025... Sorry. It will be worth it. Stay tuned for more details on that.

Suggestion for the launch!

Make the intro dialogs skippable with a key, or make it shorter! The hardest part of the game as a FTUE is actually surviving the first part and get to the game
