Help Please

Okay, so I'm running through the tutorial and I can NOT pull off Ziodyne. He just does Zio every time. I've tried with both controller and keyboard. I've gone into practice to watch my inputs. I've gotten Zio down and I can do it fast. I know I'm inputting it right.

I do the same thing I do to consistently hit Zio, just twice. circle forward - circle forward - light persona. He just keeps repeating Zio. I see Yu crouch and get up twice and fire a zio right after. Is the game broken? If I'm doing something wrong, please let me know.

Personally, I increased my Stick Deadzone a bunch and I can do it more consistently but sometimes I still fail :c

This is the only fighting game I've played where '236236' has to be inputted as '2363236'. You can't just do two QCF motions, you HAVE to do the reverse motion in between. I've never seen any other modern fighting game with this problem before. It's bizarre.

Don't forget to do the reverse motion on the stick after the first quarter circle as the poster said above (so technically you have to do three quarter circles).

This is untrue; you are able to execute it via 236236. Even 2626 is possible tbh but it seems there's a lot less leniency compared to other modern fighters.
