UPDATE 3/18/2022
Our team has addressed an issue with crashing and has rolled a fix into the beta branch. This is an opt-in beta, so if you would like to opt in, please do the following:

From Persona 4 Arena Ultimax in your Steam library, right click and go to Properties. Navigate to the BETAS tab and enter the beta access code:

p4auopenbeta1

From the drop down menu, select “open_beta_1-_”.

I highly doubt this is gonna be read anymore... and I don't remember if I posted it before, but here's an update, for devs and/or modders.
This game deserves all the love it can get. It's a shame it's been abandoned like it is. :-(

- When playing in 4K resolution, the videos show in a small window instead of the game's screen! (That includes even the credits' background video)
- "Full window" (borderless window) doesn't fit the game's screen, it shows in the middle of black frames! (My desktop resolution is 4K, but I play 1080p)
- Mouse cursor doesn't hide when in game!
- Fix Margaret's illustration when Igor appears before the character selection screen. She's all artifacted and almost unrecognizable!
- Add texts indicating "Stage" and "BGM" where the option to change them before battle is shown
- Give more antialiasing options and levels of intensity
- Improve anime videos resolution
- Upscale all 2D backgrounds (especially in STORY and GALLERY)
- Text in the visual novel parts is a little hard to read sometimes. Improve, please!
- Make all videos and screens (including opening logos, red screens, etc.) skippable when the game is already loaded
- ARCADE MODE should not allow change of characters. It breaks the story being told and pacing... and makes retries tedious!
- Credits in gallery are confusing. It'd be great to have them like: P4 EPISODE CREDITS, P3 EPISODE CREDITS, EPISODE ADACHI CREDITS and P4 ARENA CREDITS
- Only show credits at the end of ARCADE MODE and STORY (and make a better background video for ARCADE MODE's credits!)
- Add tabs in GALLERY for IMAGES, VIDEOS, and MUSIC/SOUND
- Give option to select random round announcer in the corresponding menu (can change per fight)
- Give fullscreen filtering options (smooth/blur, scanlines, CRT TV...)
- When a fighter wins a round, the round icon should grow bigger and turn YELLOW to make it more clear it's a round won! Also, it should animate as soon as the KO is announced
- Add balloons or subtitles for characters' short dialogues before battle
- There are too many screens between fights! It gets annoying. Please fix like this:
- ARCADE MODE: No Vs. screen, only show the previous/next ladder screen (except for the first fighter and the boss)
- SCOREATTACK MODE: No previous/next ladder screen, only show Vs. screen
- GOLDENARENA MODE: Keep showing Vs. screen only
- VERSUS MODE: Keep showing Vs. Screen only
- Use the aforementioned red screens for loading. The "loading" circle appears too many times between fights!
- It'd be great to replay dialogues' audios (like in other Persona games) when the "log" option is available
- Add END GAME (exit to desktop) option in the main menu (maybe in the OPTIONS submenu)
- The lots of zeroes above the health bars are too many and look kind of bad. Change?
- Better balance difficulty in SCOREATTACK normal routes.

I have a small bug that freeze the game at start of character select screen for a seconde. It's there since a long time but wasn't when the game launch.

Still me with the same setup, the game often freezes for a few frames in battle, even on challenge mode.
Plz I understand there is a lot of game you are making, but this one should be one to stay for a long time, plz provide us some bugfixes.

I get a "The server is unreachable" error when trying to boot up the game. When I hit next, it directs me to a webpage where I am instructed to copy and paste a string of text into a box but...no such box actually is accessible or appears to me, the only thing that appears is the aforementioned error box.

you have to open Intel(R) HD Graphics Control panel, go to 3D and disable Multi-Sample Anti-Aliasing and Conservative Morphological Anti-Aliasing, you can enable application optimal mode, set general settings to Performance, and set the screen resolution to 1280x720.
i play this game with intel hd graphics 4400 so hopefully this game will work for you

I have issues with sound. When game starts, after opening movie there is no sound. In options game says that it could not find any audio device...

I was trying a lot of things :
reinstalling, different directiory, win 7/8 compatibility...

Still no sound... I have windows 10
