Long Saving times and Poor Performance
Been absolutely loving this game, and the achievement grind!! My 2 main complaints are as the title says.

My PC Specs:
AMD RYZEN 9 3900X
EVGA 3080 10GB
CORSAIR 32GB DDR4
ASUS B550-A STRIX
850W PSU
Windows 11H

Performance

In Utopia mode, at about 1600 weeks, my game doesn't seem to be able to go over 20 fps in the main city. I've put my graphics all down to the lowest settings, and tried tweaking everything in settings to try resolve it but have had no luck. It doesn't seem to make a difference what I have graphics on. When I put it back up to max, it was around 20fps, still with regular significant drops down to 9-10 fps, same as it did on very low settings.

Long saves

It gets progressively worse as you go through the game of course, at 1600 weeks, the time it takes to save for me is about 15 seconds, and yes, I've timed it. Doesn't sound like a long time, but my god does it take you out of the game, which is terrible for a game that you get so immersed into.

Hopefully these are addressed very soon. However, the game is still a solid 9/10 in my opinion, the story mode was epic, and terrifying. I was hoping this game would deliver an even more stressful experience than the first game, and they did not disappoint.

Hello, I would like to know what you think of my idea for frospunk 2?

something I found when it comes to graphic settings in games is that the lowest possible isn't always the best performing, just something to keep in mind.

There are already two of us, the average game crashes just by trying to load the game

Long Saves
The biggest improvement came from disabling analytics - reduced saving time by up to 1 minute for 1000+ week long campaign.
