DX12 problem

I got message "DirectX 12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument." I've checked and I've got DX12 installed, I updated nvidia drivers without a problem, but game wont start anyway. Someone could help?

Allright, found the issue for me at least. Even if I would run Baldurs Gate 3 on my gtx 960m GPU (not even meeting minimal reuirements), it won't work here without DX12 Feature 12_0, and as it seems, my GPU only supports Feature 11_0 at last, even if it shows earlier that it has DX12 installed. It just don't use higher features or something.
Solution for me - wait for money to buy newer PC

Check if your GPU supports DX12 in the first place.
It is installed with Windows, regardlessof your GPU.

The minimum specs ask for a NVIDIA GTX 1050Ti or an AMD 550 so its asking for DirectX 12_1
A DirectX 12_0 card wont work, the current Directx you get on new cards is 12_2 also called DirectX Ultimate

Dont ask me why they didnt just called it DirectX 13 and DirectX 14

i have amd 580 and it's working on 12_0. So it's should work on it. 12_1 is not available for me or olders cards. Maybe somethink else wrong

Привет всем, я не купил игру, но я смог скачать ее, у меня была та же проблема, я думаю, что это из-за WDDM 2.5, а игра, вероятно, требует WDDM 2.7, так что для запуска игры вам нужна более новая версия Windows.
Знаю что это звучит крайне паршиво(передаю все свои наилучшие пожелания разработчикам),но можете попробовать и отписать насчёт этого,надеюсь что кому-то смог помочь.
Hi all, I didn't buy the game but I was able to download it, I had the same problem, I think it's because of WDDM 2.5 and the game probably requires WDDM 2.7, so you need a newer version of Windows to run the game.
I know it sounds really crappy (I send my best wishes to the developers) but you can try it and post about it, hopefully it will help someone.

If you go deeper into this topic, the game requires Direct 12_2 and not just 12, WDDM version 2.5 supports only 12_1, and already WDDM version 2.7 supports the very necessary 12_2
Now I will try to reinstall the system build and see if it is so.
P.S:
Sorry, I forgot to check that my video card does not support Direct 12_2, only 12_1.So it makes no sense for me to reinstall the system(If for developers even video card model 5700 xt is not something that will pull their game, I do not even know what to do)
Developers, go f*ck yourselves.
